Emergency engineering work disrupted services between Slough and Paddington yesterday rush hour including the Greenfords, anyone know the cause?

Was told it was a TCF▸ (Track Circuit Failure).

Oh don't worry, I'm already an anorak when it comes to stuff like TV▸ (Thames Valley, or TeleVision, depending on context) and radio  Grin I even knew that Test Card F is now Test Card J (at least on analogue TV!)

They should put that test card up with some incidental music when things go t*ts up I mean pear shaped across the network.

If you're feeling nostalgic, you can watch Testcard W on most freeview TV▸ (Thames Valley, or TeleVision, depending on context)'s by pressing a few buttons on your remote control.

Just read this thread about 5 minutes ago and followed the instructions.  After which a friend just came to my front door, which I answered.  They came in and commented that I must have a very fun and eventful life if I enjoy watching the BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) test card  Embarrassed
