Shocked If you are going to Cornwall tommorow (Thurs 5th) afternoon/evening without seat reservations get to Paddington Early as all trains fully booked in Standard now, will be mad scramble for Coach E as only coach non-reservable !

And any means of getting advance notice of which platform each train will run from, in an attempt to outwit the wildebeasts ?

My brother has just decided to bring his two year old to Cornwall for Easter, by train from Kings Lynn, tomorrow - brave chap - hence the question !

Obviously no chance of a reservation, so this might put him in a good starting place for the battle for Coach E.

Many thanks for the answer

Have to stress that with platforms at Paddington although a train may have a booked platform it does not mean it will use it - always check at the station just in case Smiley
