The London to Moreton-in-Marsh Saver Return is no longer available on these services. The fare has jumped from ^19.15 to ^60 return.
I can't find any communications relating to this change. Is this normal ?

This service is never on time, in fact arriving 10 minutes late at Moreton is considered to be on time

I wasn't aware that FGW (First Great Western) posed any evening peak restrictions for tickets?

Timetable changes are an opportunity for the train operating companies to adjust their unregulated special deal fares, and this is not the first example that I've seen of a dramatic rise.

An example that has hit me and my customers very hard last December was the service amendments on the TransWilts which not only took away useful trains, but also increased the price of a day trip from Melksham to London, purchased on the day, from 48 pounds to 105 pounds. That's only a two-fold rise rather that the three-fold you're reporting ...

As far as I'm aware the restriction hasn't actually changed for your chosen route. However I will take a look when I get into work tomorrow morning.
