Doubt it, delay minuets are an internal Railway Industry system; NR» (Network Rail - home page) will make a claim against the Colliery but this will not cover consequential costs such as providing buses.  Also the claim may be subject to the original land purchase there may be a clause that protects colliery as daft as that sounds the original land owner may have included it in the deeds

Surely NR are entitled to recover their costs and delay minutes are what it will have cost them.

Quite rare for a land slip to sneak up from underneath though isn't it? I guess there's a different proper name for this effect though.  Heave or something?

I wonder if the solution might be to divert away from the current formation - might be easier in the medium term.
