Hi all,

Just being nosey, but does anyone know what the emergency engineering work was, that took place between 2pm and 5pm today on the Didcot to Reading relief lines ? Didn't really impact my journey but just curious as to what it was Smiley

The driver of a freight train reported a kink on the up relief line at Cholsey so it would have been closed to allow Network Rail staff to check it. As it was opened again reasonably quickly I guess the inspection revealed no problems.
