A whole set of new images at the top of the pages.    What have they in common?  What's different this time?

Indeed ... and your avatar seems to have a similar theme  Grin

It's simply a whole lot of pictures I've taken since 21st June - start of summer ... with a little bit less stress on trains and a bit more on places you can go and things you can do by train.

I'll be going back a few weeks in my pictures at some stage and add more variety in ... it's very strong on TransWilts and Heart of Wessex at the moment.

Many thanks to bobm for further pictures - there are now 75 up there, taking a much wider angle overall than I've been able to offer.   If you want to take a good look at one of the pictures, click on the image and you'll get it displayed with twice the dimensions (4 times the area!)

There are pictures taken at (at least) 12 different stations now in the series.   How many can you spot?

Link to all the images on a single montage - http://www.wellho.net/demo/ilib.php - click on any one to see it larger

The nose to nose* HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) power cars are, I guess, at Dawlish.

*Obviously on separate lines, but photo angle makes it look like they are about to kiss!

Indeed they are ... and that's probably the second most difficult of the railway stations to guess in the whole series.  We also have lots (and lots - it's excellent for connections) pictures of Westbury, where many of us change for the South West, Weymouth and other places. That is a bit of a plug to remind anyone involved in planning for the future just how important these connections are, and that regular trains on all routes passing through Westbury need to stop there!
