Although it does leave the fine people of Swindon, Chippenham and Bath without a direct service to Plymouth and Cornwall it does solve a capacity problem down in the South West. Not only will it run in place of a 2 coach train in Cornwall going down (usually busy with people going to Truro and St Ives) but on it's return leg it breaks up what is currently a 4 hour gap between direct trains to London. (Currently 1000 and 1400 from Penzance)
In other news, not sure I like the Grey background with yellow writing cover to the timetables but its nice to see the named trains getting a little more publicity.
Oh and you can now have a longer day out in Looe or Liskeard if you go from Coombe Junction Halt! Lets see the numbers rise!
