Reading Festival in 2 minutes

Watch the entire Reading Festival in two minutes from timelapse footage taken from First Great Western's train care depot at Reading.

The FGW▸ (First Great Western) footage shows revellers enjoying each and every day at the main stage of the festival, before late night and early morning cleaning teams prepare for the next day's music.

Over 43,000 people travelled to the festival by train, newly published figures from First Great Western reveal. The train operator provided additional trains to take people home after the festival ended on Sunday evening.

William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

Also interested to see the videos of the Summertracks performances onboard that are on the same youtube site. A really neat idea, and shows great innovation.
