I particularly like number 2. Might try something like that for my own private use at Swindon.

I assume this will be on a screen rather than an accessible PC, so it is a pity you cannot suppress the links on the bus pages - but I understand why not.  Grin

These are the pages actually fed out to the CIS (Customer Information System) screens, I understand ... and we are cleared to use them (the railway ones, anyway).  There are actually links on the railway ones too - but you don't realise it from the style.  On the short departure board, click on a station and you'll find more about where it's headed and destination times.

Have you tried running the screens for an extended period?

I have been keeping a tab open with the Swindon screen and after an extended period (over 8 hours) it seems to make the PC slow and eventually stop.

If you are sitting looking at the Swindon screen for more than eight hours at a time, you definitely need to get out more.  Grin

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

Few would disagree with that. Indeed yesterday I had a very pleasant circular rail/bus trip from Swindon to Didcot, Abingdon, Wantage and Oxford.

When I got back I found the PC frozen having left the tab open. On the other occasions it has been running in the background while I have been doing other things. Even I have better things to do than play station announcers all day.  Grin
