The FGW (First Great Western) home webpage currently shows a very large red box, indicating major disruption, click for more details. This leads to a error 404 page not found. Major fail!

The web page also seems to have lost all other train running information.

First Great Western JourneyCheck is still available, at http://www.journeycheck.com/firstgreatwestern/

However: I am not an apologist for First Great Western.  Roll Eyes Tongue Embarrassed

Following that 'Major Disruption' link I get:

Quote
A broken down train means trains are currently unable to run between St Erth and St Ives. Buses have been requested to run between these stations.

You can follow this incident using the hashtag #StIves

A signalling problem between Chippenham and Swindon is causing delays of up to 30 minutes to trains between Bristol Temple Meads /Weston-Super-Mare and London Paddington.

There is no firm estimate yet of how long disruption will last but it is likely to continue until at least 19:00
You can follow this incident using the hashtag #Chippenham

Signalling problems between Chippenham and Swindon around 6pm? That's getting a bit too frequent an occurrence.

Thanks Chris, very helpful, but this cannot be currently found on the FGW (First Great Western) web pages.

Under the link for "Your journey" the link to Travel updates is also broken.

Agree: using the same, I too can see 'travel updates' and 'JourneyCheck' without issue.  Lips sealed

I'm guessing someone broke it while changing travel updates? If so they _really_ need to change the way they handle that.  Angry Roll Eyes

Nothing broken for me using Chrome browser.

...but, also with Chrome, I find both links to https://www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk/travel-updates on the home page yield a "Page not found" error message.

As does that link.

Well, no matter how I navigate to rhubarbrhubarb/travel-updates I don't get any error message.

Now, after the page's update at 19:14 (and regrading to "minor disruptions") I find it does work.

All working for me now....(Mac safari both times) but a bit disconcerting when you try and check for problems on way home and see a major disruption red box but unable to get further information.
