A landslip between Filton Abbey Wood and Bristol Parkway caused extensive delays to train services around north Bristol on Saturday (10th January).

All lines in the area were closed due to the slip thought to have been triggered by the bad weather.

Replacement bus services were operating in the evening and passengers were told their tickets were valid for alternative routes.

First Great Western announced that the landslip was cleared on Sunday morning and apologised for the delays.

Actualy I was thinking more that it implies FGW▸ (First Great Western) cleared it up. Perhaps I should have said no credit for NR» (Network Rail - home page).
