Sadly, the line between Ebbsfleet and Ashford has been closed due to a person having been hit by a train.

But the 'alternative travel arrangements' contain the most optimistic suggestion that I've ever seen:

Not actually most, but all. 

Thameslink services cannot stop at London Bridge, because for the next three years there is no physical route for them, and they are diverted via Elephant & Castle.

That's through 'Thameslink' services. London Bridge is still being served by starting and terminating Thameslink services.

What was the advice for Eurostar passengers? I get the impression that they were being told to come back tomorrow.

That's through 'Thameslink' services. London Bridge is still being served by starting and terminating Thameslink services.
I presumed the advice was referring to the problem of getting from St Pancras to change onto a SE service to Ashford, and didn't think the T/L Brighton services would be relevant to that.
