How close is Victoria rail station to Victoria coach station?

Megabus is getting a try from me in a few weeks time on my travel to gatwick, ^20 return compared to ^122 by train, just need to get from Victoria coach station to gatwick.

I assume the train is the only realistic choice?

On foot about five minutes  walk out of the coach station turn left cross over Buckingham Palace Road and Victoria rail station is on your right after one block
Hope this is helpfull.

I think National Express runs from the Coach station direct to Gatwick...save you the walk in you have the additional travel time to spare

Google gave me http://www.nationalexpress.com/coach/PDF/A3%20TIMETABLE%2012pp%20web%20.pdf

Showing 2 buses an hour, journey time roughly 90 minutes.   Beware - may be a bit out of date but I can't imagine huge changes; replacing the year with "2015" or "2014" in the URL gave me a broken page though.

Thanks. The train is ^1 cheaper each way (the ticket that's apparently not valid on gatex) and an hour quicker each way. At the times I need it there is a train at least every 10 mins.
