I did mean it light-heartedly, honest! It's those railings I can't place - but I have an uneasy feeling that I ought to know ...

A pint of quality lager from the Bath Ales bar 'Graze' next to the 'up' platform at Bath Spa.
A great place to sup a pint and watch the trains go by.
Word of warning. Bit pricey. My proper Czech Budweiser cost me ^4.50.

I'd expect a litre of it, rather than a pint, at that price!

Hmm. In my local Wetherspoon's, Bath Ales are generally priced at a very reasonable ^1.99 for a pint.

Thing is, I'm on a bit of a lager bent at the moment. Quality lager mind, which means paying through the nose in many locations.
Peroni Nastro Azzurro - ^5.04 a pint, The Beer House, Waterloo Veltins Pilsner - ^5.00 a pint, Mad Bishop & Bear, Paddington Budvar Budweiser - ^4.50 a pint, Graze, Bath Spa Amstel - ^4.16 a pint, Bonapartes, Bristol Temple Meads
