Passengers causing a disturbance on the 18:30 from Bristol Temple Meads to London tonight.

Train was held for 40 minutes at Chippenham and then again at Swindon due to fighting, which spilled out onto the platform.  The train eventually left an hour and 15 minutes late.

The 18:36 from Westbury was trapped behind it at Chippenham.  The TransWilts was eventually sent back towards Thingley to cross over and come into the other platform at Chippenham, before starting its return journey to Westbury from there rather than Swindon.

The 19:00 from Cheltenham was also trapped on the Kemble line outside Swindon and delayed for nearly half an hour.

Oh my goodness ... and I used to think that trains always ran to plan.   I was wondering if Swindon v Millwall was going to cause a few problems today, but this looks like something else.     Been a funny week; not really incident free on my travels at Swindon or Peterborough either!

Hmm ... Rugby fans - surely not ...

Stags perhaps?

Or just mindless neanderthals.

Stags perhaps?

Or just mindless neanderthals.

The two are not mutually exclusive!  Smiley
