GWR (Great Western Railway) expect their new timetable in December 2019, not January 2020.

GWR (Great Western Railway) confirmed that the final HST (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) booked to run is

Didn't think much of 'em when they arrived into service back in the 1970s.  Although they didn't arrive on the Worcester and Hereford services until a bit later.

I really didn't like that they were displacing the D1000s, and regretted also that the 50 xxxs were on their way out, too.

But over the years I've come to appreciate the work done by these machines.  I don't suppose the designers had the start/stop nature of the Worcester and Hereford route services in mind; they are designed to be more greyhound than carthorse.

The plastic that comes in their wake is definitely not the same.
