Just been looking at some times and fares. This is bookable, but what's wrong?

Not just the booking engines...

http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/search/advanced/SOU/2017/12/25/0000-2359?stp=WVS&show=pax-calls&order=wtt

Now, with booking engines offering fares and allowing purchase (not just on GWR (Great Western Railway), there are 25/12 services uploaded on many routes) a contract is formed. The operator is under an obligation to honour such contract aren't they? Huh Tongue

Replacement taxi? Although it'd be impossible to find a member of staff or Customer Services to organise such.

It would be a bit of a lark (I couldn't think of a better word at the time) if a couple of hundred of us booked it today, with seat reservations, to see what happens. We might have to run our own bus service to the starting point though.

Maybe from Portsmouth harbour for a few stops so not expensive.

It'd be a bit of a challenge to get a couple hundred of us to give up our celebration of the feast of Mithras.

Nothing wrong with this fare (to answer the title question) indeed it should be very right - a limited international service running every day of the year between England and The Principallity.   Co-incidentally, I received an email from

to invite me to book online:

I'm very tempted to nip down to the Cross Buns for a quick liquid refreshment prior to lunch being served.

All this because Network Rail is not meeting it's T12 requirement hence the normal timetable still showing. This is also stopping GWR (Great Western Railway) making tickets available for Christmas.

Hi Phil.
The online journey planner is yet to be updated for over the Christmas period. Please check: https://www.gwr.com/travel-updates/planned-engineering/christmas2017.
Sorry for any confusion.
