Problems on two Cornish Branches - 19 May 19

The units working both the Newquay and Looe branches have broken down leading to cancellations.

In addition the IET^▸ (Intercity Express Train - replacement for HSTs (manufactured by Hitachi in Kobe, Japan)) service from Newquay to Paddington this afternoon was cancelled at Plymouth due to trespassers.

According to a post on a 'gen' group that I am on, it was a Paddington to Penzance service that was heavily delayed by the aforementioned trespass incident [believed to have been between Paddington & Reading ,not 100% sure on the location], with the Newquay to Paddington service terminated at Plymouth with the IET^▸ (Intercity Express Train - replacement for HSTs (manufactured by Hitachi in Kobe, Japan)) unit [800308?] from that service used to restart the Penzance bound service from Plymouth.

15:59 Newquay to London Paddington due 21:21 will be terminated at Plymouth.

It will no longer call at Totnes, Newton Abbot, Exeter St Davids, Taunton, Westbury, Newbury, Reading and London Paddington.

This is due to trespassers on the railway earlier today.

15:03 London Paddington to Penzance due 20:23 was terminated at Reading.

It will no longer call at Taunton, Tiverton Parkway, Exeter St Davids, Newton Abbot, Totnes, Plymouth, Liskeard, Bodmin Parkway, Lostwithiel, Par, St Austell, Truro, Redruth, Camborne, St Erth and Penzance.

This is due to trespassers on the railway earlier today.

An additional train service has been planned to operate as shown

18:25 Plymouth to Penzance due 20:23.
