Proposed amendments to some late night & early morning services from December 2020

We’re launching a consultation on proposals to remove a small number of late night and early morning services from Sunday to Thursday from December 2020. This will allow Network Rail more time to carry out essential maintenance work and help keep trains running on time.

Doing this will also allow us to introduce additional late night services on busy Friday and Saturday evenings.

The number of journeys directly impacted by the removal of some late night services, represents fewer than 400 of the over 600,000 passenger journeys on our network every day and all of which would all benefit from a more reliable railway.
