I've updated the "Who's behind this forum?" sticky topic here on "Introductions and Chat".  The moderation team has grown of late, and at the following link you'll find a brief and current introduction to everyone:

http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=1780.0

The moderators have also approved my request to add a couple of new names to help me with the administration - that's the technical (none-railway) end of running a site like this, and the two people who have joined me in that role are now also listed on that page so that you'll recognise them if you see them around.  Both are very experienced in providing internet services of various sorts.

A personal comment - I'm delighted with (and very thankful for) each and every one of the moderation and administration team. Without them, the First Great Western Coffeeshop simply coundn't function.

I for one would like to say well done chaps and ladies. You've really done a lot of great work making this website the number one place to discuss/sound off/praise FGW (First Great Western) and in doing so,  helping probably 100s of people who use FGW to stay sane!

Cheers then.

You can find out more about how this forum works [here] - that will link you to a copy of the forum agreement that you can read before you join, and tell you very much more about how we operate. We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity. Views expressed in posts are not necessarily the views of the operators of the forum.

As well as posting messages onto existing threads, and starting new subjects, members can communicate with each other through personal messages if they wish. And once members have made a certain number of posts, they will automatically be admitted to the "frequent posters club", where subjects not-for-public-domain are discussed; anything from the occasional rant to meetups we may be having ...
