One diagram all day - down from 3 carriages to 2.  The diagram has it in busy areas at peak times too.

Hang on a minute - weren't these supposed to be five carriage trains by now?  The days when 2 carriages were enough on this service are long gone, and with social distancing measure at present more space is needed not less.  A Friday afternoon in summer is likely to bring quite a number of journeys of people going home or away for the weekend ....

Let's be thankful that there are no class 153s (or bubble cars or rail buses) in the area any longer

I wouldn’t be surprised if the plan for operating 5 cars has been postponed indefinitely.
