Love it ... but no-where near where my picture was taken.

At present the only thought is anywhere to get out of Reading. Getting a bit stir crazy with cycling round and round Reading.

Didn't do a Bedwyn to Swindon ride last year, so that has got to be a contender, as has Brockenhurst to Poole via Ringwood. And various shorter ones to work up to those.

From a personal point of view..... whilst I am fed up with lockdown, I am willing to wait until it is 'guaranteed to be safe' to get out and travel again. I have a short break booked in Glenfinnan during October whilst the ladies in my household are hoping to be cruising in search of the Northern Lights at that time.  If we can get out before than, all the better, but I am prepared to wait.

Exeter Central may be my first port of call with my newly acquired armful of Pfizer. I find it very handy for my occasional trips into the city from Tiverton Parkway, occasionally supplemented by a Plusbus ticket for multiple destinations.

 A couple of unusual notices from Arizona. Was hoping to go again in 2020 - that came and went....and I didn't, this year looks doubtful, so 2022 is being examined closely !







I must confess to "photoshopping" the second one (black script)............I didn't see the possibility until long after the photo was taken.

The photo of the seagull on the train roof reminds me of my visit to Mevagissey some years ago, when I saw a car parked at the harbour that was completely covered with gull shit. I was astonished as no others were like that, until I looked up the lamp post it was parked next to, and saw a gull with an evil grin perched on top.

The photo below that I assume is Nailsea and Backwell. If so, travelling through there at this time of year you can almost guarantee to see some good sized floods in the fields from there to Yatton, often being enjoyed by a range of birds, with the vista of the Mendips behind them. One of the many things I miss from making no train journeys.
