Dorchester West is now step free following a ramp access being built for the up platform. The down platform was always step free.

At Maiden Newton the foot crossing at the south end was taken out but later reinstalled. Whether an official crossing or not it does give step free access to the down platform. It was the usual means of crossing the line by most.

Some of these surprise me - or used to. Freshford, whilst it has a bridge, has an adjacent level crossing and ramps / flat onto both platforms, for example.  Also scratch my head (but perhaps others can tell me) about places like Sea Mills.

What is really disappointing from a passenger viewpoint is the grey circles at stations that GWR^▸ (Great Western Railway) serve but don't operate ...    I'm sure that passengers who need accessibility would prefer to be told "yes/no/partial" rather than "not ours" - passengers don't mind who operates a station, but they do care if they can get on and off a train there!

I heard that GWR^▸ (Great Western Railway) are re-introducing half hourly services to Cardiff, well done GWR! These are going to be worked by the class 387s, does anybody know when they will be introduced on services to Cardiff?

From now.  But only limited ones.  It is great to see 387s getting to Cardiff though - should help immensely with events at the stadium.

Sea Mills  has no steps ,but a reasonable amount of slope from the platform to the entrance gate ,no way that could be described as level ...
