Cl 73s provided the traction as there is still work to be done.
The photo, by Peter Spokes who is restoring other SR (Southern Railway / Southern Region / Scot Rail / Scottish Region (rather confusing - it depends on the context)) EMUs (Electric Multiple Unit), was taken from X/Twitter and includes Gordon Pettitt himself and Chris Green among the others.

(Peter Sookes is restoring other SR EMUs in deepest East Kent where there is a South Central VOP and a SWT (South West Trains) 139x CIG just... waiting)
