A feature about a teenager in Germany who, as the headline says, lives on trains.

With his BahnCard 100 he travels around the country and uses sleeper services to get his er, sleep. Station lounges for food and showers.

Would you want to do this in the UK▸ (United Kingdom)? To and from Scotland and Cornwall would soon lose its appeal I think. To say nothing about how expensive it would be. 26x 14 Day First Class All Line Rail Rovers, even with a Railcard discount would be £23,800.40! And a young person like the one featured in the article wouldn't be eligible for 16-25 Railcard discount on First Class ALRs▸ (All Line Rover ticket). Then you'd have to add the berth supplements to that. Averages of £150 for the Caledonian Sleeper and £80 for the Night Riviera. Plus hotels for Saturday nights, bank holidays, and engineering works. You'd be lucky to have change from £30,000!
