William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

Hang on, I am getting confused.

Is this a repeat of "Down the Line"?

Will I (in Central) be able to watch other regions - I am sure that it is in Central listings!?

Will it be on iPlayer?

I think it is, yes. The trouble I suspect was, there's already a TV▸ (Thames Valley, or TeleVision, depending on context) series called "Down the Line" which covers (mainly) overseas routes. It was reshown in the weeks after the original Calder programme went out. So this repeat appears to have been rebranded to avoid confusion.

I could be wrong, but that's my guess...

In case anyone missed the repeat on BBC4, relex109 has found another showing of the programme, on BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) iplayer - see http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=3879.msg30930#msg30930

I found the BBC4 version of the repeat a bit clunky on my PC, but the iplayer version here is of much better viewing quality.  Wink Cheesy Grin
