I received a mailer this morning reminding me to renew my season ticket. It talks about free tickets which will be sent shortly after renewal. I didn't know anything about these. Does anyone know what they are and how long has this offer been going, as I certainly didn't get any this year?

Thanks

I know absolutely nothing about it, strange.
Will have a word with marketing tomorrow.

Thanks Ollie. For reference the letter is titled "How far will your new season ticket take you?"

Saw a briefing today.  Can confirm that renewal of ANNUAL season ticket will give you 6 return tickets to be used anywhere on FGW (First Great Western) trains.  Dont know the full details but it sounds a lot like the SWT (South West Trains) offer where Andrew Haines used to work

Thanks Super TM (Train Manager, or Ticket Machine, or Temple Meads (Bristol), depending on context).

Only if it's a renewal? (I ask, because I will be continuing with an annual season ticket but for a much longer journey.)

I'll follow this thread with interest as I've just renewed mine at the station, 6 tickets on top of 32% sounds even better.  Grin
