Railway group sees membership soar
The Cotswold Line Promotion Group has seen an increase in membership this spring.
The rise is partly thanks to a recruitment drive connected with advance bookings for a special train to Devon operated in May in conjunction with operator First Great Western.
At the end of May, the group, which represents passengers on the Oxford-Worcester rail route, had 1,721 members, up by 51 on the previous year.
For more details of membership, which costs ^4 per year for individuals and ^5 for families, write to the CLPG» Membership Secretary, 4 Sandford Rise, Charlbury, OX7 3SZ.
