What does is it booked/run as ?

Just looking at my return journey options from Slough tonight.

Given this is a US company, I suspect a slightly later start and later finish is going to be the norm and since this train stops at slough it eans no changes.

So long as I can rely on it being a HST^▸ (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)).

Also, which depots run which services in the evening peak?

All Paddington - Hereford trains are HST^▸ (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) sets.  The 1922 is 1W09 and is a Bristol crew.

Which depot depends on the timetable.  Most (if not all) are Bristol or Oxford crewed.

As Don says - always a HST^▸ (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)) (as are all the evening trains now - except the all stations stopper from Oxford).

I actually meant crew not depot

Mainly because I like bristol crew better than London - fewer of them so you tend to get to know them

Oxford crews also work this line, but I don't think they know the route beyond Malvern, so not on Hereford trains.

Oh, and some crews swap over at Oxford.

Half of the drivers that know the route to Malvern also know the route to Hereford. Though in the case of the two principal evening services from Paddington-Hereford they are not rostered for Oxford drivers - though when there are shortages or delays Oxford drivers may get asked to cover them.

The same applies with the Train Manager when Worcester staff may be 'stepped up' to cover.
