I've replied to Jo but I have a very good doctor who treats their patients with respect - ie they dont hide or lie

1. Getting it now is no guarantee you wont get it when it mutates - however you are LESS likely to for what its worth

2. You have to be symptom free for two days before you can go out - typically from start to finish symptoms are 7 days (however unless you get the quick onset version like I did you wont be aware for the first day or so) but with tamiflu it reduces to 5 (hence mine reduces to 3!)

3. If you get it - allow at least five days before you go into public - it wont help - its out there - we're all gonna get it - but at least you can say you tried to help!

That certainly gets my vote.

As an almost lifelong Blackthorne drinker I have now stopped drinking it as well, fortunately there are a number of other fine ciders out there.

Is there anywhere on the interweb where we can register protests.

tramway, if you have a Facebook account there are numerous groups protesting at the changes Gaymers have made to Blackthorn, just type in 'Blackthorn' (no 'e' !!) in the search box. Googling 'changes to Blackthorn Cider' (or similar) brings up numerous articles as well.
