Just been looking up a possible train journey I might undertake.

It involves one change but the interesting thing is that all three stations involve have an X as the middle letter of their 3 alpha  station code so it goes.

*X*
*X*
*X*

As a clue the shortest single journey time is 1:04 the longest 5:48.

Spot on. Only 6 minutes from posting is that a record?

I knew it wouldn't take long to crack, but it caught my fancy.

Well done terminal junkie.

Just in case you wondered where the 5:48 comes from its's the last train out of Exmoutn with a 4 plus hour wait at Exeter St. Davids.

A supplementary question why are most of the changes shown at Exeter St Davids not Central?  A run up and down the bank is always interesting.

Does St Davids have lifts, but Central not, or can both trains possibly use the same platform at St Davids ?

Does it effect the revenue split between FGW (First Great Western) and SWT (South West Trains) in some way?
