Really want to get the 1131 W&S (Wrexham and Shropshire (Open Access Operator)) departure on Sunday from Shrewsbury but the first train to Shrewsbury does not arrive until 1127.

the next train is 1357 which would be annoying enough if I had to wait at Shrewsbury for 2.5 hours (well I wouldnt - i'd go home and get a later train if on arrival at ludlow the train was late) however it would be doubly so if I was then refused the advance fare on the later train.

Any thoughts?

Well - moot point - time table change means the first train to Shrewsbury now arrives AFTER the W&S departure.

So I go to the W&S website - try to book tickets for phone delivery.  Won't let me because it apparently does not like my mobile phone number.  So I try print yourself - still won't let me because of the mobile phone issue even though you dont need one if you print yourself.

Tried signing up with a different email address and going straight to print yourself - no can do.

Phoned up telesales to get an advance fare in first on the 1355 departure on Sunday - no can do, they have nothing (even though the W&S site says they do)

Finally got it through the trainline!

A less persistant sort would have just given up
