Ha...excellent, so it's them...remember the young lady who started making spoof announcements on LUL▸ (London Underground Ltd)...and was sacked for her irreverence. Would rather hear a sexy Lady than a synth voice.
In York, a while back, we were blessed  with a cracking North American Lady announcer (mmm, must have been GNER▸ (Great North Eastern Railways) days, come to think of it)...marvellously we got "Edinborrow"...but what the hell, at 7.15am she sounded so sexy.

William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

Just get yourself to New Street then Btline...... just don't overdose!

BTW▸ ('by the way'), I've got a Train Sim called BVE and one of the routes is a fictional West Midlands line, loosely modelled around New Street and even this has Phil Sayer announcements!

He used to be on SWT▸ (South West Trains) Desiros.

I've got it. (on my PC, which i hardly ever use) The ANNOYING thing is that it takes half an hour to get there from Redditch. I am literally dying of Phil Sayer Withdrawal syndrome...
