Bounciest Pacer video

Has anyone filmed or seen a video containing a Pacer where it bounces more vigoursly than this one?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJHwbgk3ynU (about 4:00 in)

i remember up't north now and again we used to get a 142 on the rosehill or marple service (insted of a 101) i seem to remember a bad bit of track between romley and where the rose hill branch meets the main line ( not on the viaduct tho!!) even on the 101's you knew when you hit it because you could hear it infact i could hear it from my old house a couple of miles away like  a whooshing sound then a couple of clunks  now on a pacer that was fun!!

Bl**dy h*ll! A few dipped joints there, methinks. I had know idea there was quite so much visible bouncage* even at low speed like that, although it has felt a bit like that a few times when I've been on a Pacer.

Sorry dunno (not a word) how to put a link into a post, (I am an old git). But....

If you put a search to You tube for '142 Newton St Cyres' you get some FGW^▸ (First Great Western) bounceage (you never know if people are using the word it will become one).

Perhaps Pacers can be given a new nickname: "Tiggers"

Perhaps Pacers can be given a new nickname: "Tiggers"

But they're known as donkeys, which is very appropriate for the seaside services they operate.  A donkey can't be another type of animal unless it's Donkey Kong.
