Thought it was about time I did one of these. These are photos, which happen to contain transport, of travels in the last 4 years (since I went digital).

Not sure how hard/easy it will be. None are in FGW (First Great Western) area. Some are close, other not so.

Usual rules please, etc.

One clue: none of the pictures are Melksham (sorry!)

Here is 1 to 4 of 16!

I cry foul - anywhere warm to newport is FGW (First Great Western) area even if not stations operated by FGW

1 is bugging me because I'm sure I've been there but I can't place it. I think, putting together the mark I, the semaphore and the camping coach that it's on a heritage line somewhere. I was thinking maybe the WSR but the maroon stock has put me off that idea.

NYMR (North Yorkshire Moors Railway - heritage line) definitelty has camping coaches at Goathland, which would fit with the Pickering photo. Only problem is that the photo definitely isn't Goathland. But it just might be Levisham...

Hang on, I've just realised that No. 3 may be misleading. The picture was not taken onboard a train, nor from a bridge.

However, River and Wales are correct.

No. 1 is not Levisham.

Let's have some clues (cryptic if you like) for the three remaining unguessed before you post more!  Tongue Cheesy

No, it's the new Welsh Assembly airport shuttle - every 15 mins with a restaurant. Tongue

Yes - reverse them! (and it hasn't even been "one of those days!") Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Btline. Can I ask that you don't post such witty rejoinders for me to read just as I'm inhaling from my cigarette. I very nearly coughed up a lung. <giggle, cough, splutter>

Now, where did I put those screen wipes?  Grin

OK, so number 1 is most likely on the Severn Valley Railway then...so if it's in Shropshire that would make it Highley or Hampton Loade (pretty sure it's not Bridgnorth, and the rest of the stations on the line aren't in Shropshire).

Hampton Loade?
