The first Exeter to Barnstaple train is probably quite lightly loaded. Shouldn't be any rugby fans on that.

Total lottery. All likely to be busier than normal as the usual Bristol TM▸ starters are starting back at Swansea. The line is closed between Swindon and Didcot and the HSTs▸ are diverting after Bath.
So you've got all the South Wales pax▸ , plus some from Bristol Parkway on board before the services reach Temple Meads.

1600, 1700 and 1900 services. All these start at Bristol so should be quieter. At least you should get a choice of seat. All the others come from Swansea except the 1800 which comes from Paignton

WellI chose the wrong train. This was the scene after Reading but we did have standing after bath! Even in first class.
At least the TM▸ (after prompting by me) did come through and stiff everyone after bath for the weekend first upgrade (I got done between parkway and temple meads when it was relatively empty) however he abandoned all hope after reading
But no official declassification so yet again, not likely to get me money back!

So thats after reading but we did have standees all the way from bath - but they were chinged for the difference
From reading on wards it was that bad
Will I get even a partial refund - will I heck
Whilst they have the line closed and only swansea services conveying bristol traffic on sundays - why not just suspend first class cos thats what happens effectively anyway
