All aboard the 6 Nations train

Wales and England supporters can travel to the opening RBS 6 Nations game in style, with the trophy in tow.The competition's sponsors have chartered 'The RBS 6 Nations Express', which will leave London Paddington around 3pm on Friday February 4.

Rugby Union fans can relax in a pre-reserved seat with a buffet service, getting supporters to Cardiff with plenty of time to spare.

The service, a joint venture between RBS, Six Nations, the RFU and WRU, will also transport the RBS 6 Nations trophy to Cardiff for the game. The train will arrive at Cardiff Central Station at 5.30pm in good time for the 7.45pm kick-off, and then depart back to London at approximately 10:45pm.

There are 2 specials up to scotland this year from south wales. You have the joint pathfinder/arriva trains wales special from Swansea and now you also have spitfire tours running a train from Carmarthen using 2 DRS» (Direct Rail Services Ltd, a national rail freight operator providing a range of services with its head office in Carlisle and depots at the South East, York, Crewe, Sellafield, and Scotland. - about) class 37's. Spitfire are planning on operating a few short trips around scotland during the weekend that the stock is stabled  in scotland before the train returns to carmarthen on the monday.
