DO YOU RECOGNISE THIS MAN? BRITISH TRANSPORT POLICE APPEAL FOR INFORMATION AFTER PUBLIC ORDER INCIDENT - WORCESTER
British Transport Police (BTP) officers are appealing for the public^s help to identify a man they would like to speak to following an incident at Worcester Foregate Street railway station.
Officers have today released a CCTV▸ image of the man they believe will have information which can assist their investigation.
PC Carol Dade, investigating officer, said the incident took place between 10.20am and 10.30am on Thursday 9 December 2010.
^A man alighted from a train at Worcester Foregate Street station at about 10.18am and made his way from platform 1 to platform 2 to catch a train to Droitwich Spa,^ PC Dade said. ^Rail staff refused to let him travel as he appeared to be intoxicated and had no money. The man then became verbally abusive towards members of rail staff before urinating on the station.
^Officers have viewed CCTV images and we would now like to speak to the man in this photograph as we believe he will have information which can assist us. I would ask anyone who knows the identity of the man, who we believe had travelled from either Gloucester or Cheltenham Spa, to contact BTP straight away.^
