Today, 24/10/2007, is continuing yesterdays trend ;-

05:35 Weymouth to Cardiff Central due 09:05
This train will be started from Westbury. It will no longer call at: Weymouth, Upwey, Dorchester West, Maiden Newton, Chetnole, Yetminster, Thornford, Yeovil Pen Mill, Castle Cary, Bruton and Frome. This is due to a member of train crew being unavailable.

Road transport will be operating from Weymouth to Westbury via all Stations enroute.

But at least they acknowledge their shortcomings yesterday and say that road transport will operate between Weymouth and Westbury. How many passengers will be aware of this since Digital Doris does not give out this information on the information points at the stations.

That presumes yesterday's last down Weymouth didn't run beyond Westbury, as the driver which takes it forward stays over and works back up on the 0535. The 0647 Frome Cardiff was once again held back to depart vice the Weymouth at 0652 which again was pathed behind the Exeter Paddington and again didn't connect with it or the Swindon at Westbury much to the irritation of some passengers who were routed via Bath. I await tonight's 'adventure' with interest!

Nope, the 1600 Cardiff-Wey didn't run, and the unit from the 1748 from Bristol was used to take the 1959 WEymouth-Bristol up
