Former ITV West newsreader, turned BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) local radio presenter Peter Rowell has been reported missing.

He was last seen at 8:30 yesterday (Tuesday) morning but did not turn up for work, his car was found parked at Morrisons supermarket in Yate. It is thought he is depressed following the death of a close relative.

I hope to God that he is found safe and well.

It is believed he may be in Cumbria, and is said to be suffering depression following the death of his father. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-12899418
