I'm due to travel to London on Tuesday and I booked myself an Advanced 1st to Stansted Airport from Frome on the 21:42

I booked the tickets via Southern Trains and selected them to be posted. I've only just realised that my tickets have not arrived Shocked eek!

I contacted Southern who said I needed to write in with the booking reference to claim a refund, and that I would have to buy a new set of tickets! Angry

Is there any way I can collect the tickets at the station, or do you'd think I'd get away with travelling on the Booking Reference printout - which does state the journey date/time and costs paid... The only problem is that part of the journey includes travel on the Tube and then NXEA (National Express East Anglia) to Stansted Airport, who are probably much less understanding than FGW (First Great Western)...!

What should I do?

Thanks Smiley

Sorry it's not possible to collect a booking that has already been printed. Unfortunately being realistic you will just need to do what Southern advise.

My advice would be not to book tickets for delivery from the Southern website.  They can get very difficult (in my experience) when it comes to tickets getting lost in the post.  With a bit of pushing, they will come to some arrangement to refund the tickets.
