Yes, I'm rather surprised it's lasted this long - based on past form!  Despite the apparently tranquil residential setting, this is actually within a few feet of the main line ...

There used to be something like this at Highbridge and Burnham but I thought it gor relocated to an industrial estate roundabout, though stil on the site of the old S&DR carriage works - I presume there could be 2 and this is by the flats on the east side of the mainline

There's one in the middle of a roundabout in Basingstoke as well. And possibly something similar at Winscombe Station, on the site of which I read local people had erected a 3D homage to what used to be there (haven't seen it myself - the station was all still in situ when I lived there in the 1960s!)
This isn't either of those though and I haven't a clue where it is. Wild guess time: Barnstaple?
