Putting my "Eeyore" hat on, yes it's amusing on one level but publicly blaming another company doesn't really give the punters a very good impression of a railway system working together does it...? (BTW ('by the way'), even if it was back in the days of British Rail I don't think blaming the signaller for incompetence would have been any better!)

I regret to say that we "punters" aren't under any illusions about "a railway system working together".

I did like one of the clips that's flagged up at the end - the time-lapse of Network Rail doing the Thameslink (are we still calling it that?) bridge over Borough High St, at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SAoV-4FKns&feature=related. That is particularly impressive.

Trying to freeze it on the last frame to see where it was shot. You can see a station approach on the right hand side before the camera pans round to look out the opposite window.
