It's good of FGW (First Great Western) to let people know that the brasserie service won't available on a particular service but I doubt many care so long as the buffet will still be open. It might be helpful to let passengers travelling on the Cardiff-Portsmouth service that the trolley service won't be available though so you could grab a coffee before boarding the train.

We will have to start a "brasserie" punctuality sheet! Grin

Don't you mean a "cancellations" sheet, the brasserie is only as punctual as the train its on and you can still make purchases, but if its cancelled there's nothing that you can do about it except to go hungry. Hey!, now thats an idea, a "Hungry Passengers" thread which can also include those instances of "no buffet facilities on this service".
