Which did each get then?

If you really require those details, ChrisB, they are readily available in the full list on the Government's website, at https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/694929f072075a1d4a5089cd/NY26_Gov.uk_List__Final__18_12_25.pdf
However, there are some other names in that list, where senior people at the Department for Transport have been awarded "Order of the Bath, Companions of the Order of the Bath" for 'Services to Transport'.
Surely, they were just doing their jobs - for which they are probably already very well paid?
CfN.

I didn't log those, feeling the the award of a recognition is the important bit (to me, anyway) not which rung of the ladder you are put on.

Yes, but they don't get the reward us campaigners get of travelling on public transport and thinking "I had a bit to do with getting that running"

Also, civil servants have their own rungs that they automatically move up while employed as such....don't get me started....

In a National voluntary organisation I have been involved in the nomination process for civic awards, "just doing their job" is not sufficient even for and award for being a highly committed volunteer. There has to be more about that person than just doing a job or roll.
The awards process is not perfect and I agree that just being a certain level of civil servant should not warrant a gong

Adding to the list of recipients, my former head of department at TfL who rather oddly left without saying goodbye before popping up in his current more exalted role:
Vernon John EVERITT
Transport Commissioner, Greater Manchester Combined Authority. For services to Transport
(and that lack of final full stop looks really odd in isolation but is apparently intentional!)
I must admit I'm one of those unsure about the whole honours system. I've personally known people who have been very deserving recipients thanks to a voluntary role, or perhaps going significantly above and beyond in their day job, though at the senior level implied by some of the paid job titles, "above and beyond" probably ought to be expected. Those described as "Lately..." do look rather like a retirement present, or perhaps acknowledgement that someone should have been appreciated more during their career. The awards listing really would be better for giving a bit of detail (or perhaps a link to the original nomination?), rather than the many described as for "Services to <just doing their job>".

Tend to agree with sentiments above, but popular opinion I suspect wouldn't allow you to get away with ignoring, for example - the women's football team, ditto the women's rugby union team - all doing what they were paid to do.
