Time will come ... I suspect you get buses in Liverpool to John Lennon ...
There was a time when Liverpool FC, the current European champions, were not doing so well. Beneath the statue of John Lennon, where the inscription said "Above us only sky" (from Imagine, by the former mop-top with granny glasses for any younger members) some Scouse wag had added "Below us only Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion."

Walking down the Temple Meads incline yesterday afternoon an Irishman got off the A1 from the airport and yelled out 'young man' and pointed at me and continued, "can ye tell mee whur de oliday in is". I pointed across the road and said, "there". A complementary thank you followed just as a bus turned up into the incline. The Irishman in a loud voice bleeted out to all and sundry around, "cor blimey, I never knowd that Bristol had a suburb called SPICE GIRLS", which brought a smile to my face even though I was soaked through and many other home going commuters were in the same predicament heading for their trains, but they smiled back at me and at the joviality of this lone Irishman. The SPICE GIRLS destination indicator of the bus referred to it as one of a number of buses operating a shuttle service from the station to Ashton Gate stadium for a 30,000 sell out concert by the girl group of that name which caused traffic gridlock in the Central Area of the city and I personally spent 45 minutes travelling from the bottom of the station incline to The Centre just in time to catch the last service of the day of the Y1 but I had a backup because later services operate to my home area from the citys bus station.
