Isn’t that the amount of progress HS2 (The next High Speed line(s)) has made?

Well, considering that the rail replacement bus service was finally withdrawn due to low usage on this route at the end of August 2018, 51 years after closure of the railway line, I'm not sure it's that far up the High Speed Rail pecking order!

Judging by your bye line: Currently muddling along the Guingamp-Carhaix line

Is it somewhere on the Reseau Breton narrow gauge? I know the French persevered with replacement buses long after we ceased running ours.

I was wondering what language the clue was a pun in - but to be fair to most people it would have to be in English: Scaer (or Scaër, not that that helps much with the pronunciation).

There's an old picture of Plouguenervel station on the line's Wikipedia entry page with a waiting room just like the one pictured, although I guess it may be the standard pattern for the line.
