in connection with the Green football weekend

taking place on the 4th February weekend and some clubs are doing this on 28 february weekend

Some clubs are doing free coach travel or discounted costs to away games.

This would for the local fares from Cardiff Swindon Cheltenham(GWR (Great Western Railway) trains only) and Taunton(GWR trains only) and the stations in between to parson street.

Still a game in Cardiff but it is Wales v Ireland.  England play Scotland at Twickenham.

What a great opportunity to offer cheap fares to attract people back to the railway.

I have 4 friends coming up from Plymouth for England v Scotland, needless to say in one car as 4 rail fares would have been far more expensive.

Errrr - sorry, but the Rail farebox needs all the income it can get. Those weekends will be full at normal prices.

TOCs (Train Operating Company) have offers all around the remaining dates at the moment.

Don't agree - then all you get is overcrowding complaints with refund requests
