This evening, chaos at King's Cross with the overhead lines down at Doncaster.   On the East Coast main line, almost everything cancelled and people being told they could travel tomorrow.  Under the Cubitt arches sat a couple of local trains and a solitary East Coast HST▸ (High Speed Train).   And people queued to ask about their options



A rumour swept the crowds that the Hogwarts Express is still steam hauled and would be able to get through, and crowd descended on platform 9.75 vey much in the way they head for the 19:03 from Paddington on a Friday

Perhaps there are some residents of the Pangbourne area there who think that the OLE▸ (Overhead Line Equipment, more often "OHLE") should be made less intrusive by using headspans.  They could then perhaps explain it to their neighbours.
