Greetings of the season to all of you out there in Coffee Shop land.

Sadly, Santa didn't bring me a reopened S&DJR (Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway). I did however get a nice framed print of JMW Turner's 'Rain Steam and Speed' from bobm. That'll take pride of place in the living room.

Today is a quiet one. Did the clan gathering yesterday. Finn and I went down to Lyme Regis this afternoon for a stroll. I was pleasantly surprised to find one of the cafes along the front was open. A seaside cider shandy was had. Home now as I type, preparing a chicken dinner for the pup and I. With a glass or three of Chablis for I and a doggy beer for Finn. Cheers!

A bit of Dad's Army and Morecombe & Wise later. Nothing of the modern offerings from the network broadcasters appeals. The old ones are the best!

Glad you like it.

Railway theme has continued here with a couple of transport books (which I didn’t already have), some nice cheese and alcohol.

Paid for it for it by cooking lunch for 12.  No reports of food poisoning yet!

Seasons greetings to one and all.
